Kotaro gave an oral presentation at the 2026 Joint Scientific Meeting of the Tokai Block of the Japanese Society of Hospital Pharmacists and the Tokai Branch of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.

We participated in a barbecue party as part of an ExCELLS social event. Members of the Uchihashi group also joined, and we enjoyed a wonderful time together.

A small birthday celebration was held with our Okazaki lab members in honor of Professor Kato’s birthday.

Dr. Kyotaro Yamazaki from the Chromosome Engineering Research Group gave his final lab seminar in Okazaki. The Okazaki lab members then held a farewell party to wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

At the 26th Annual Meeting of the Protein Science Society of Japan, Saeko served as the organizer of a workshop, in which Prof. Kato gave a featured presentation. The meeting also featured invited lectures by Maho and Saeko, and Ryuhey’s poster presentation attracted considerable interest.
